Composer Competition 2013

This competition is over! For information on this year's competition visit the page for the 2014 Young Composer Competition.

The EPO is inviting submissions for its first Young Composers Competition. Original works scored for orchestra will be judged by a three member panel. Three winners will receive cash prizes and the Grand Prize composition will be performed by the EPO during its 2013/14 season. The deadline for submissions is November 1, 2013.

Prizes

Grand Prize: $2,000 plus performance of composition
Runner-Up: $1,000
Promising High School Composer: $500
