Jessica Lane

Jessica Lane, up and coming, internationally award winning soprano is a singer to watch! As a two time consecutive prize winner from the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (2015) and the winner of the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg International Competition (2016), Ms. Lane is making her mark on the opera scene.

Jessica made her European debut as the title role in "Tosca" with Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg in 2016 where she sang again with Opera York in November 2016 and reprised with Southern Ontario Lyric Opera’s inaugural production in March 2017.

Other notable credits include: Adalgisa in "Norma" (2016) Mutter and Hexe in "Hansel und Gretel" (2014), Foreign Princess in "Rusalka" (2014), the title role in Carmen (2012), Der Komponist in Strauss' "Ariadne auf Naxos" (2012), Nicklausse in "Les Contes d’hoffmann", Marcellina in "Le Nozze di Figaro" (2011).

Ms. Lane's musical theatre credits include: Bloody Mary in "South Pacific", B.J. in "Smokey Joe's Cafe", Alice Beane in "Titanic: A New Musical".

Jessica recently returned from the Neil Semer Voice Institute in Coesfeld, Germany and has been reviewed as "strong and consistent performer" (Halifax Herald, 2011) and "a sincere performer...sure to impress on the audition circuit" (Opera Canada, 2012).
