Dina Nekhai was born in Russia. She won her first competition at the age of 10 and has been awarded numerous prizes at the local and international competitions. She got her Bachelor degree in music from a College named after M.P. Musorgsky and Masters degree from the State Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov (St. Petersburg, Russia).
She started her teaching career at the same institution as an assistant professor and became a soloist of the Pskov Symphony Orchestra in 2010. She was selected to be a part of National Musical Team of Russia by St.Petersburg Music House and took part in a cycle of concerts locally and abroad.
In 2013 she moved to Canada (Toronto) where she continued her teaching career at The Piano Studio as a piano and flute teacher and became a principal flute at the Etobicoke Symphony Orchestra. She recently got her ARCT diploma (first class honours with distinction).Tweet
