Cécile Denis

Once you have seen Cécile perform on harp you know that she can play both celtic and pedal harp with ease.

Cécile received a Master in Performance from the University of Toronto where she studied with Judy Loman.  She also cultivated her love for the celtic harp while she performed solo at the Ontario Renaissance Festival for six consecutive Summers.

Ms. Denis has performed in North America as well as in Europe. She was a featured guest artist with the Regina Symphony Orchestra in February 2010, and performed the Debussy “Dances for Harp and Orchestra”.

Cécile has recorded two CDs: “Harposphere” which features the celtic harp and “Nocturnes” by F. J. Naderman who wrote music for harp and French horn.

Cécile Denis is the Principal Harpist with the Regina and Saskatoon Symphony Orchestras and is also the harp instructor at the University of Regina (Conservatory of Performing Arts).
